The DF-MC12 Serial Fiber Media Converter translates signals from twisted-pair 10/100/1000MBase-TX cables to 1000Base-FX fiber optic cables, extending data transmission distance from 100 meters via copper cables to 120 kilometers using fiber optic technology.
